I Side With...
For this quiz, I mostly agreed with the Democratic party at 83%. I'm not actually that surprised at this result; on the rare occasion when politics would come up over the family card game, I mostly supported my sister and father in their stances on Immigration, Education, and Healthcare. I was surprised at the closed-minded outlook on the Republican party and how much it differed from my own opinion on Immigration. I understand their view that yes, we can't trust all immigrants and that if they aren't registered they cannot pay as many taxes; however, if it were possible to make immigration easier both in and out of America, maybe there wouldn't be such a struggle with illegal immigrants. Surprisingly enough, I didn't have any agreements between my opposite party. Who'da thunk it, huh?

VoteMatch
For this quiz, I agreed most with Republican Representative Paul Ryan at 40% and Incumbent Democratic VP Joe Biden at 38%. I was definitely surprised I agreed most with a Republican the most out of all the candidates! I mean, we just established that I'm a Democrat! I most definitely disagree with Paul Ryan's stance on abortion; I'm a pro-choice person and I believe in the right to abort if you KNOW you won't be able to take care of a child. Limiting minor ability to get to an abortion?? Are you kidding me? Does incest or rape sound like a good reason to you? Some of his Economic stances I most definitely agree on, especially limiting spending.

Political Party Quiz
All right, this PBS quiz looks like I'm a Liberal Democrat! Is it weird that these quizzes all seem to be telling different stories? Vote Republican, but be a Democrat? Interesting. Seeing as I'm so far left on the spectrum, I'd have to assume I'm in the low 90th Percentile, maybe high 80's. Compared to my SEX (aka FEMALE), I was pretty much on the "correct" side as well as with Religion (I'm non-affiliated) and with AGE (still a minor!). However, what confuses me is that in the above quiz, my results put me further from Barack Obama and yet, in this comparison to the candidates, I am a "Certain Obama" person on the spectrum. Really though. As for my overall result on what I was OVERALL, I'm surprised, and yet not, by my position on the spectrum being so far left. I do agree with an overall policy towards the Democratic party; however, I don't exactly "drink the Kool-Aid" as Mrs. Ramos would say. On economic issues, I'm more Republican (which, thinking back, is probably why I was most matched up with Rep. Representative Paul Ryan) but with social, education, and foreign affairs, I'm definitely more Democratic. Cheers to diversity!
