Government is the thing by which we define ourselves and has yet to be actually defined, for myself at least. It is a system which protects without being too protective and cares enough only to get the most votes. Government provides labels by which we bind ourselves (e.g. being a TRUE republican, a TRUE democrat, etc.)
However, I will admit that government does have its positives. Government has been the system by which we've allowed ourselves freedom, whether it be freedom of segregation, freedom of speech, or simply the freedom to sit at home in our pajamas to eat ice cream all day. Without government, we'd most likely be a little whirl pool of anarchy and crime, without any clear boundaries and not any sort of real protection from ourselves. So yeah, you go Government.
